Forgiveness is a Precious Gift

Forgiveness is a precious gift

Forgiveness is a precious gift. The Lord is so good to us. He says we should live each moment as it is the last time we will see each other. How precious would that be? That we treasure each moment together. That we live each moment to the fullest.

The Lord says forgive one another but many times we don’t.

We hold onto, “He or she said this to me, they didn’t do that for me or they did this to me, lie to me, wasn’t there for me, hit me, took my toy, my food, my clothing.

Have you forgiven those who have been mean to you or did something that hurt, offended you or you thought was mean?

A small child, even a baby in the womb of their mother will sense the pain of rejection or being unwanted but will not recall it as they grow up. These wounds are the foundation stones for future wounds. Holy Spirit can through revelation reveal what took place.

This generation carries the blessings, curses, weakness and strength, sickness and health of the generations before us.  It has been recorded in our DNA. Have your ancestor asked forgiveness?

Where have we not practice forgiveness?

So, if the Lord says to forgive, we should begin to identify those areas where we have not done so. As you repent and ask for healing you will lighten the load you are carrying, and you are following the true Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

The Accuser of the Brethren will find less to accuse you. God’s love will flow. You will be a light to the people around you.

Ask Holy Spirit to show you where we need to repent, He will guide you. You might recall an event or a moment in year past that you had forgotten, or you might see a current event happening on television or as you go about the day, that triggers a memory.

Forgive and lighten your emotional load.

Forgive and increase your spiritual strength.

You could begin by forgiving your parents, where they failed. Some examples…

Forgiveness of classmates and other children who were cruel to you

Other children can really be hurtful. They can say hurtful words, be a bully or alienate you because you are not like them. These words can be the fruit of your lack of success in life, marriage or finance.

Words are powerful, they can make us or break us.

Before speaking, we should ask would God act this way? Is this part of God’s culture or part of the world’s culture which is from the tree of knowledge of good and evil?

As we practice forgiveness, we free people – what a precious gift, and we grow in love.

These are a few examples of forgiveness prayers, that covers only a few situations. These prayers can be said when people are alive or afterward. Though people receive greater benefits if done while they are still alive.

Share with us your prayers and from time to time we’ll update the lists.

Be Bless and fruitful this day.
